FAQ - Introductory CMT Seminar

Q:  How long does the effect of CMT treatments lasts?
A:  It depends on the symptoms.  In general, the more localized the symptoms are, the more likely
the improvement will be immediate and lasting.

Q:  Will I learn enough in the Introductory seminar to actually treat patients with CMT?
A:  That's exactly our goal.  In addition to the basics of CMT theory, this class also focuses on
training participants to be able to perform a handful of CMT treatments.  With this foundation laid,
you will be able to apply many additional CMT treatments after the seminar.

Q:  Do I have to complete the Introductory CMT seminar in order to take the Basic CMT seminar?
A:  Yes, material covered in the Introductory CMT seminar significantly helps the participants
better prepared for the Basic CMT seminars.

Q:  Do you have CMT seminars on DVD? Can I study CMT through books or online courses without
going to the seminars?
A:  Yes.  Introductory CMT e-Seminar is now available.

Q:  Will we be able to figure out CMT treatments on our own after the seminar?
A:  That's outside of the scope of Intro seminar.  The goal of the Intro seminar is to give an overview
of CMT and provide necessary hands-on training in order to equip you to treat patients with CMT.
In the Basic and Intermediate CMT seminars, you will spend a significant amount of time learning
how to come up with CMT treatment prescriptions on your own.

Q:  May I videotape the lecture?
A:  We ask you not to videotape the seminar.  In an on-site seminar, you may take photos during
the break, but not during the lectures.  Audio recording of the class is welcomed and encouraged.

Q:  How do I know if I am registered or not?
A:  After registering, you should have received an email confirmation.  If not, please contact
EnracUSA office.

Q:  I am an acupuncturist.  Will I learn anything new in the seminar?
A:  Yes.  The underlaying theories of CMT and Traditional Chinese Medicine are quite different.
How the pressure points are used is very different; and the locations of many pressure points are
different.

Q:  I am a certified massage therapist with acupuncture background.  May I attend this seminar?
Q:  Yes, massage therapists can now attend the Introductory CMT seminar / workshop.

Q:  I have not studied acupuncture before.  Will I be able to keep up with the class?
A:  Yes.  Doctors with no acupuncture background had done well in our past seminars.  CMT is
significantly easier to learn than traditional Acupuncture.  In fact, doctors with good pathophysiology
background tend to excel in more advanced CMT seminars.

Q:  What are you selling in the seminar?
Q:  What equipment do I need to treat patient with CMT?
A:  Seminar is our core business.    We do carry books, press sticks, and other products for the
purpose of facilitating participants' learning.  CMT can be applied with bare hands.  You can be
backpacking down in Grand Canyon and still be able to help people around you without any
equipment.  However, most CMT doctors use press sticks or sometimes with equipment.  In the
seminar, you will learn all three forms of applying CMT.

Q:  How about the device Dr. Ko used in the CMT DVD?  Do you sell it?
A:  That was an ordinary portable ionizer.  The use of ionizers will be discussed in the seminar.
EnracUSA does not sell ionizers, although it is in our plan to make them available in the future.

Q:  Will I learn enough to treat CRPS after this seminar?
A:  No.  Treating CNS-related symptoms is covered in Intermediate CMT Seminars.

Q:  Are the books included in the tuition?
A:  The class handbook is included.  The Atlas and CMT Treatment Manual can be purchased after
you have completed this seminar.

Q:  May I bring a patient to the seminar for CMT demonstration?
A:  No.  We usually had enough volunteers among seminar participants.

Q:  Do you give group discounts?
A:  Not for planned seminars.  There can be discount if your organization wants to organize a CMT
seminar.
